Oxford retired the PAT and moved Engineering Science, Physics, and Physics and Philosophy onto the ESAT. Materials Science has not joined ESAT - it has no admissions-test requirement from 2026 entry onwards.

PAT（Physics Aptitude Test）曾是牛津物理、工程科学、材料科学的入学笔试。该考试于2023年改版，此后牛津物理类专业已转向ESAT。
申请牛津物理类专业者，请直接在牛津学系入学页面确认当前的必考考试。传统形式的PAT已不再是这些专业的正式评估。
过去的PAT真题至今仍对牛津物理面试准备及ESAT物理备考有价值（力学、光学、电学、波动、热物理的问题解决能力相通）。
