录取数据为何重要
录取数据是牛剑申请过程中最容易被误解的环节之一。诸如“Economics & Management专业仅有个位数百分比的申请者获得offer”这样的标题数字，可能会让人望而生畏。但若仔细审视，实际情况要微妙得多。
本页将各校官方招生报告与官方披露数据汇于一处，并为每一项数据标注来源。你可以据此了解哪些专业竞争真正最激烈、学院选择如何影响录取几率，以及整个流程中真正的瓶颈所在。
如何解读这些数字
录取率不等于你的几率
15%的录取率并不意味着你有15%的机会。申请池中包含大量准备不足的申请者。一名准备充分、成绩优异、笔试分数良好、并对专业有真正热忱的学生，几率会显著更高。
学院选择很重要
同一专业，有些学院收到的申请要少得多。调剂（pooling）机制有助于平衡这一点，但你最初选择的学院确实会影响由谁面试你，以及你将与多少候选人相比较。
趋势逐年变化
去年竞争激烈的专业，今年申请人数可能减少。不要仅凭单一年份的数据做决定。在有数据的情况下，应关注3至5年的趋势。
瓶颈因专业而异
对Medicine而言，笔试是主要筛选关口；对English而言，面试权重更大；对Engineering而言，ESAT与面试同样关键。理解这一点，能让你清楚地知道该把备考时间投入到何处。

Table 4.3 (state/independent by college) used as cross-check. Country rows (Table 1.4) publish applications and students admitted only (no offers), as three-year totals 2023-2025.
